CME E-mini NASDAQ Composite Futures

Contract Size
The size of one CME E-mini® NASDAQ Composite® futures contract equals $20 (the contract’s multiplier) times the current CME E-mini NASDAQ-Composite futures level. The contract moves in ticks of 0.50 index points valued at $10.00 per contract (futures calendar spreads move in increments of 0.05 index points = $1.00 contract).

CME E-mini NASDAQ Composite futures expire on a quarterly basis and are listed two months out in the March quarterly cycle. These contracts trade electronically only on the CME Globex® platform nearly 24 hours a day around the clock, around the world.

Underlying Index
The diversified stock pool comprising the NASDAQ Composite Index is one of the most widely followed and quoted major market indexes in the United States. The NASDAQ Composite Index contains large, medium and small capitalization securities and is heavily weighted in technology stocks, but also covers a wide range of other sectors, including financial, telecommunications and industrial companies.
